La familia Meza, hábiles artesanos joyeros, inició su negocio hace más de 50 años, con una hermosa historia que comenzó en el pueblo de San Jerónimo de Tunán en Huancayo. Desde 1939 Urin Huanca ha elaborado cuidadosamente diseños de joyería contemporánea con un toque étnico y colonial en cada pieza.

En los últimos años Urin Huanca se ha consolidado convirtiéndose en sinónimo de diseños innovadores.  Diseños inspirados en la cultura peruana, hechos a mano con piedras naturales y metales preciosos de alta calidad, defendiendo la preservación de las técnicas y el arte que se esconde detrás del oficio de elaborar diseños únicos de joyería peruana.
