La asociación de mujeres AMARNO trabaja en el norte del Perú. Lo que comenzó como cinco mujeres recogiendo semillas juntas es ahora un próspero grupo de mujeres. Sus ingresos provienen de la venta de sus hermosas joyas ecológicas de la selva tropical.

El grupo AMARNO es ahora uno de los grupos artesanales indígenas emblemáticos de la Amazonia . Pero estas mujeres tienen ambiciones mayores. Quieren asegurarse de poder alcanzar los mismos objetivos que cualquier negocio exitoso.

Estas mujeres elaboran intrincados diseños de joyería ecológica con la popular semilla peruana de huayruro, símbolo de prosperidad, amor, felicidad y buena suerte.
