The AMARNO women’s association work in northern Perú. What started as five women collecting seeds together is now a thriving group of women. Their income comes from the sale of their beautiful rainforest eco-friendly jewelry.

The AMARNO group is now one of Amazon’s flagship indigenous artisan groups. But these women have bigger ambitions. They want to make sure they can achieve the same goals as any successful business.

These women craft intricate eco-friendly jewelry designs with the popular Peruvian Huayruro seed, a symbol of prosperity, love, happiness, and good luck.
