Urin Huanca’s jewelry-making legacy began with the Meza family in 1939 in San Jerónimo de Tunán, Huancayo—a Peruvian community renowned for its silversmithing traditions.

Using sterling silver, gold, and colorful natural stones, its artisans create jewelry inspired by Andean symbols, ethnic artistry, and Peru’s colonial heritage. Each piece combines time-honored techniques with contemporary design, preserving a family tradition while sharing Peruvian craftsmanship with new generations.
